I won't say that this has been the most enjoyable experience of my life, but I will say that it has been one of the most rewarding experiences.  I have lost approximately 130 pounds since I started in January of 2008.  The experience has been challenging, but necessary in meeting my goals. Because of the training, I have realized that I can push myself harder and further than I ever thought possible. - Pat

I had given up almost all hope of ever getting back into shape.  My slow metabolism and lack of energy made it hard to get any momentum going on my own.  A friend graciously offered to let me join her for a work out session at OSX.  I really liked it but low self-confidence kept me from immediately making a decision.  When I realized that I was seriously considering spending a lot of money on a chair to help my back, something clicked.  Why not spend the money on a trainer instead?   I asked my husband to give me some sessions for Christmas 2007.  I cleaned out the pantry, fridge and freezer to prepare for a healthier life.  I began working out twice a week on January 5, 2008.  I promised to show up and do my best.  Slowly, I added cardio sessions at home to my routine.  I also began a food journal, focusing on keeping calories low without sacrificing protein.  Octavius (and Jeff) were both demanding and patient.  They pushed me hard every session but always left me feeling better about myself and my fitness goals.  As I approach the end of my first year with OS Xtreme, I am so happy with what they have helped me accomplish: over 70 lbs. lost, healthy eating habits gained and a dramatic increase in fitness/energy.  My goals for 2009 are to continue with weight loss and get my BMI down to a healthier number.  Thanks to OSX, I am confident that I can meet those goals!    - Valerie
